Memorial Day serves as a reminder to honor our nation’s fallen military members. Whether that means visiting a veteran's final resting place or partaking in a Memorial Day ceremony, I urge you to join me and the rest of America in reflecting on the sacrifices made by those who served in our Armed Forces. Throughout American history, brave men and women have proudly defended the freedoms of our country and if it wasn’t for such valiant efforts, we would not be living in the greatest country on God's earth. 

As a veteran of the Marine Corps and member of the Mississippi National Guard, I am grateful to serve and have served alongside some of our greatest men and women in uniform. We should not take for granted our freedoms that have been protected and defended for generations.

Please take time to reflect on the service and sacrifice of our nation's Armed Forces this weekend. I hope you have a safe and blessed Memorial Day!
