Palazzo Votes to Pass NDAA to Fund National Security and Defense

Washington, DC - Congressman Steven Palazzo (MS-4) voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023. As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, current member of the Mississippi National Guard, and staunch supporter of our servicemembers, Congressman Palazzo ensured the NDAA contained provisions that would bolster our national security and equip the military with the necessary tools to operate successfully. "With unrest at our southwest border, in Ukraine, and in the South China Sea, ensuring our military remains the best in the world through this funding is crucial," said Congressman Palazzo. "I am glad to see the NDAA expands on veteran benefits, provides an overdue pay raise to our servicemembers, and ultimately strengthens our military overall. This bill ensures our military has the resources they need to best protect our country and our freedoms."
