Palazzo Hosts Salute to the Military Honoree for State of the Union Address
Washington, DC - Congressman Steven Palazzo (MS-4) today welcomed Navy Petty Officer Andrew Tracy as his special guest to the President's Annual State of the Union Address.
"It is my pleasure to welcome the 2018 Thomas V. Fredian Community Leadership Award recipient to the House of Representatives for this historic event. I am thankful to have such an outstanding leader in our nation's capitol while the President makes his address to the nation. Petty Officer Tracy is a man of great character who invests himself in bettering the community and those around him. It is evident that he is a passionate and selfless leader who is every bit deserving of being named the 2018 Fredian Award recipient," Palazzo said.
Palazzo traditionally extends his one guest ticket to the recipient of the Thomas V. Fredian Community Leadership Award which is given at the Mississippi Gulf Coast's annual "Salute to the Military" dinner. The award recognizes an enlisted member of the military for their community leadership and service.
Tracy is an instructor and supervisor at the Calibration School which provides technical training and administrative management support for Navy and Marine Corps personnel attending co-located Navy schools and consolidated courses of instructions at Keesler Air Force Base.
